Purpose of the Job
Roles and Responsibilities
- To assist the Artisans on all jobs.
- To assist Artisan to carry out planned maintenance and attend to breakdowns.

Provide support to technicians and artisans as required
- Dig electrical cable trenches.
- Work on new installations, equipment modifications and projects assigned by Foreman.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Ensure that all the company’s Safety, Health and Environmental standards are adhered to.
- Report faults and assist with repairs
- Maintain good workshop practices
- Ability to perform standby duties and work overtime as and when required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- N3 or equivalent techincal qualification in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation
- Must be familiar with all tools and equipment including test equipment used by Electricians/Instruments.

0–2 years’ relevant experience in Electrical maintenance and Instrumentation support
- Must be able to perform standby duties and work overtime as and when required.
