Purpose of the job

 

 

To assist the Accounting Department with various tasks.  GRN of invoices - This involves verifying that the delivered items match the purchase order, processing the receipt and then routing the invoice to the account payable clerk for further processing

 

 

Roles and Responsibilities

 

 

  • Accurate and timeous processing of invoices
  • Stores requisitions capturing
  • Banking
  • Critical spares issues and capturing
  • Loading emergency and normal PR’s
  • Courier arrangement
  • BBBEE certificates and letter of good standing verification
  • Ensure that all the company’s Safety, Health and Environmental standards are adhered to 

 

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

 

  • Grade 12 (Matric) 
  • Computer literacy in MS Offiice (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Basic accounting principles
  • Post matric qualification in financial management will be an advantage
