Operator: Emulsion Plant

Purpose of the Job

To manufacture Bulk Emulsion within required quality specifications according to planned quantities by following a set of operating procedures which include safe operation of machinery and equipment.

Roles and Responsibilities

1.To conduct tasks in a safest possible manner by observing the company’s procedure and safety standards at all times

2.  To produce or manufacture the required quantity of products according to the production plan and within the prescribed bill of material

3. To ensure that the product quality meets the designed specifications by conducting continuous quality checks

4. To inform work Group Leader of any deviation or non-conformance of product or breakdown of plant equipment for rectification so that the safety and quality of products are not tempered with to avoid customer complaints, injury to employees and plant machinery.

5. To ensure excellent house-keeping which includes the cleanliness of the plant to meet company and SHE requirements

6. To safely execute start -up running and shut -down procedures as prescribed by the operating procedures

7. To perform any other duties within the competencies of the incumbent as the exigencies of the job require to ensure efficient and continuous business operation

Knowledge and experience

Minimum of Senior High or Technical School Certificate, NVTI, or equivalent

• Minimum of 1 year in a formal employment

• Ability to speak and write English well

• Good team player and interpersonal skills

• Good motor skills
