Purpose of Job: Maintaining, servicing and growing existing Accounts in Sasol Secunda
Location: Secunda
Required outputs: Functional
- Responsible for the execution of required contractual service activities of allocated customer sites (Person must be based in Secunda or surrounding areas).
- Ensure all chemical treated systems are fully optimized and good margins are maintained on site
- Ensure the retention of allocated customer accounts being serviced.
- Identify new business opportunities and work with Business development and Product Manager to close new business.
- Compiling of daily, weekly and monthly customer reports.
- Interpretation of CSR and taking corrective actions.
- Customer operational level interaction and communication with regards to site service activities and continuous improvement.
- Ensure that we are EHS compliant (as per SHE plan) and that housekeeping is in order.
- Monitor the performance of all site chemical dosing and monitoring equipment.
- Responsible for required calibrations and maintenance of all site equipment with involvement of Field Service technicain.
- Ensure that Customer Service Excellence Files are in place and updated.
- Ensure correct chemical dosing and inventory control (consumption, ordering & forecasting) is done and in place.
- Responsible for the identification and implementation of customer value generation projects.
- Responsible for living and demonstrating the AECI BIGGER values.
- Site Servicing (Control equipment, calibration, dosing pumps, water chemistry)
- Ensure all chemical treated systems are fully optimized and good margins are maintained on site
- Ensure healthy growth of the accounts in the area and insures customers KPI’s are met
- Attend monthly/quarterly review meetings with key site management personnel
- Ensure all JCC’s are submitted on time and make sure accounts are not blocked as a result
- Ensure housekeeping and Safety on all 7 sites are always up to AECI standards
- Yearly budgets for all accounts
- Proficiency in Excel/Word/PowerPoint
Qualifications and expertise required (Must)
- Matric with Math’s & Science.
- Tertiary qualification - Diploma/Degree (Minimum) in Chemical Engineering.
- Must have knowledge and experience in cooling water, boilers, liquid/solid separation, influent/effluent and related equipment.
- Proven track record in customer service delivery and customer retention.
- Valid driver’s license, travelling is required to execute the responsibilities of this role.
- Basic water treatment equipment trouble shooting and maintenance skills & experience.
