Purpose of the Job

 

The Human Capital Information Analyst (HCIA) leads the collection, analysis and interpretation of data related human capital and people management processes at the local and global level. The incumbent must interpret and translate the data to provide insights and recommendations to the company to support and drive effective human capital service delivery and people management across AECI operations. The incumbent must lead to the data extraction process and generate data analysis to support the strategic and compliance imperatives of the Human Capital across the local and global operations, and in line with the difference legislative and compliance parameters governing AECI multiple operations. The HCIA will be accountable for interpreting and the generation of accurate real-time reports and dashboards that communicate and drive collaboration on key strategic human capital matrices between the AECI Human Capital and Business Leadership team.

 

 

Role and Responsibilities

 

Data Quality and Accuracy

 

  • Lead the process to ensure the data accuracy and completeness of data collected and reported on in support of the human capital strategic pillars for local and global operations.
  • Ensure and measure the timeliness of the data extraction, quality and accuracy for input to HC reports and dashboards for local and global operations.
  • Lead the determination and measurement of the insights and recommendations extracted and provide to the internal stakeholders, with specific focus on the HC and Business leadership, in line with the strategic imperatives of AECI’s local and global operations.
  • Provide ongoing insights and recommendations on the improvement in HC operations and systems the provision of analytics that drive the strategic priorities of the local and global business.

 

Data Analysis and Insights

 

  • Lead the preparation and compilation of timeous and high-quality reports in support of the compliance, governance and human capital strategic matrices for local and global operations.
  • Lead the provision and input of accurate human capital data into databases or data warehouses and value add to the generation of human capital dashboards and reports for local and global operations.
  • Lead the provision of accurate and real time of data analysis using statistical methods and data visualization tools in line with the human capital and business strategic priorities.
  • Lead and manage the identification of trends and patterns in data related to human capital matrices across the global operations.
  • Ensure the provision of accurate, relevant and value adding people management data for HC reports, dashboards and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders at the local and global operational level.

 

Data Collection and Reporting Generation

 

  • Manage, assess and track the compliance with the AECI reporting requirements and metrics across the local and global legislative parameters.
  • Manage and assess the efficacy and quality of the data visualization tool report frameworks and dashboards.
  • Ensure the timeous and accurate tracking of the number and quality of the human capital reports that are accurate, timely, and relevant to the audience in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Manage and assess the quality and efficiency of communication of human capital data insights and recommendations to stakeholders within HC and AECI leadership.
  • Ensure the accuracy and value add of the data analysis and data mining team to support report and dashboard development across HC operations.

 

Communication and Collaboration

 

  • Lead the measurement, clarity, conciseness and efficacy of reports in communicating complex data analysis findings related to human capital for local and global operational sites.
  • Ensure and track the measurement and timeliness of human capital management reporting.
  • Lead the measurement of the stakeholder satisfaction with the quality and timeliness of insights provided

 

Technology and Tools

 

  • Lead the measurement proficiency in data visualization tools and ability to use data visualization tools to create compelling human capital presentations, that are aligned to the strategic priorities of business at a local and global level.
  • Ensure that there is in-depth knowledge of HCM Technologies and understands the latest HCM technologies and tools and provide recommendation to drive continuous improvement to human capital service delivery.
  • Lead the measurement of the efficiency in data management.
  • Provide leadership and ensure the effective management of data pipelines and ensure data accuracy and accessibility to all human capital management systems.

 

Qualification and Experience

 

  • Minimum of a 3 Year Degree / Diploma (NQF 7) in Human Resources or related fields.
  • Certified Payroll Administration Practitioner (SAPA)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR/ Payroll / IT
  • Engagement with diverse, external international stakeholders in managing legislative risk.
