Based at ERGO in Brakpan
Required Outputs: Functional
- Loading and offloading of Sulphuric Acid Road tankers.
- Housekeeping and cleaning around the site.
- Liaising with Ergo security for weighing of road tankers
- Logging of road tankers for loading of acid as per delivery notes.
- Filing of documents for dispatch and receiving of road tankers.
- Daily and weekly inspections of fire and safety equipment.
- Weekly and month-end dips/stock take of sulphuric acid storage tanks.
- Working inside confined spaces on ad-hoc basis during washing of sulphuric acid tanks.
- Taking sulphuric acid samples at the sulphuric acid storage tanks which involves working at heights.
- Performing light maintenance work
Requirements
Qualification and expertise required
- Grade 12
- Trade qualification (eg mechanical) will be an advantage
- Basic mathematics
- Basic literacy in English
- Quality awareness
- First aid &Fire fighting
- Handling of Hazardous substances
- Occupational health and safety
- Basic computer literacy to access procedures and works instructions
- Able to work at heights
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Able to work unsupervised
