Warehouse Controller: Spare Parts

Purpose of the Job

To control the store keeping of Spare Parts by timely receipting, storing and delivering to the production plants and external customers

Required outputs: Functional

• Storekeeping of raw materials
• Warehouse stores orderly housekeeping standards
• Conduct regular raw material cycle counts
• Pick raw materials against pick lists and customer orders (local and international)
• Ensure SAP inventory data reconciles with the levels on an daily basis
• Update the inventory management systems and proactively escalate system update issues
• Timeously report low stock levels to prevent stock outs
• Ensure raw material metrology checks are conducted where applicable
• Compile supplier quality performance
• Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards
• Support continual business improvement and change management
• Comply with governance and established policies, systems, procedures and practices

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Requirements
• Matric
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in storekeeping and material handling knowledge gained either by studies or by experience in a stores environment.
• Be able to read, write and speak English
• Ability to carry out mathematical calculations
• Code 10 Drivers License
• Forklift License
• Working Knowledge of SAPR3 Required
