Supply Planner: IS

Purpose of the Job

To develop and execute supply plans i.e. production plans, sourcing plans and inventory plans that will enable AECI to meet sales and service objectives for allocated product grouping 

Required outputs: Functional

• Generate monthly feasible plans to meet desired customer service and inventory levels for allocated product groupings​

• Analyse collated long term demand requirements to identify a bottleneck on supply and sourcing plans​

• Monitor execution and control of supply plans to ensure on time availability of products to fill customer orders and on time shipments​

• Integrate supply plans with operational plans​

• Review demonstrated capacities vs. planning rates on a quarterly basis with operational planning team​

• Work closely with customer services and customers to reschedule orders where potential supply issues exist​

• Manage and maintain SAP Supply modules to support the S&OP Supply Planning process​

• Conduct supply planning for the short to medium term for allocated product groupings​

• Participate in supply planning reviews​

• Inventory management for allocated product groupings​

• Integration of supply plans with operational plans​

• Order Management for allocated product groupings​

• SAP system management for supply modules​

• Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards

Requirements / Qualifications(Must)

• A university degree or logistics qualification in commerce, supply chain or engineering ​

• 1-2 years experience in supply planning with a broad knowledge of production planning and inventory control​

• Advance skills in MS Excel and financial modelling ​

• Extensive knowledge of supply management tools and supply planning models​

• Specialist knowledge of inventory control and production planning​

• Sound understanding of supply chain models​

• Advanced knowledge of SAP
