  • Setting and articulating a clear product vision and strategy based on market analysis, stakeholder feedback.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the market, identifying gaps and opportunities in the electronic initiation systems and supporting software packages.
  • Responsible for assisting channel partners in formulating business cases that advocate for product development, modifications, or specific requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining a product roadmap that outlines the progression of the product over time, considering both long-term objectives and short-term deliverables.
  • Gathering market-focused information to compile user requirement specifications, ensuring they align with both customer needs and company objectives.
  • Acting as the main liaison between internal teams and channel partners and end-user’s users, to align objectives, collect feedback, and convey product strategies and advancements.
  • Consistently studies market trends, user behaviours, and competitor products to guide informed and competitive product decisions.
  • Understanding and ensuring that the product meets all necessary regulatory, legal, and compliance standards and advising the relevant teams thereof.
  • Evaluating developed functions to ascertain that they effectively address and resolve the end user's requirements.
  • Identifying potential risks in the product development and market release process and implementing strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Liaise with the marketing team to guide the creation of accurate and compelling promotional materials, ensuring a consistent and informed message for the target audience.

 

Qualifications and expertise required (Must)

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Administration, Computer Science or Engineering. 
  • At least 3 years’ experience in mining, blasting and/or electronic initiating systems would be beneficial
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic blasting systems and specific channel partner applications of these systems will be beneficial.
  • Maintain a high level of mining knowledge on all different types of mining methods and applications (surface & underground).
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with software systems used in mining operations or data analysis tools that support decision-making.
