Purpose of the job: To render necessary assistance with Product testing, Production infrastructure repair & maintenance and Product failure investigations.

Required outputs: Functional

  • Test PCBs requested as spares by international repair centres.
  • Assist with repairing faulty PCBs (production line, returned PCBs from international repair centres, etc)
  • Assist in preparing (impromptu test setup assembly) for failing PCB investigation as well as during investigation.
  • Gather and prepare test data (measure requested quantities such as voltage, current, frequency, etc) for analysis by Technicians
  • Perform Quality checks and functional tests of repaired and tested equipment.
  • Assist with Test Equipment (Multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc) verification and Test jig maintenance.
  • Generate COCs for tested and repaired PCBs and equipment. 

Requirements: Qualifications and Experience

  • National Diploma in Electronic Engineering or Equivalent
  • Computer Literacy in Microsoft Windows and Office applications
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Attention to details
  • High regard for safety and quality standards
  • Demonstrate Logical thinking skills and ability to formulate conclusions based on obtained data
