Purpose of the Job
To form partnerships with managers by providing all HC processes to the business cycle, in line with policy and legislation in support of the strategy and people requirements.
Required outputs: Functional.
Develop and execute a resource plan to meet the needs within area of responsibility. Ensure recruitment of required resources on-time within area of responsibility.
Implement effective talent and succession management within area of responsibility.
Enable and support line managers with effective discipline and employee relations processes to implement and manage performance management processes within area of responsibility.
Ensure HC reporting is effective and accurate within area of responsibility.
Ensure sound employee relations through engagement with line management, employees and shop stewards.
Support the Human Capital Manager Southern Africa in implementing change initiatives in collaboration with line management to address business problems.
Observe and ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Environment standards.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field 4 – 6 years of relevant HC experience with previous experience as HC Manager.
Broad knowledge of HC policies, procedures and systems. Knowledge of talent and recruitment management.
Knowledge of performance management principles and procedures. Knowledge of local regulations and legislation related to area of work. Knowledge of administration processes.
Sound knowledge of relevant HC systems Understanding of project management principles
