Purpose of the job

 

To support and partner with line managers by delivering effective Human Capital processes across the employee lifecycle, ensuring alignment with company policies, procedures and applicable labour legislation. 

 

Required outputs: Functional

 

  • Provide line management with recruitment support
  • Create and place VA’s for job openings
  • Support line management in developing new job profiles
  • Ensure all job profiles for the area of responsibility are updated and kept centrally
  • Support HC Consultants with human capital programme implementations
  • Support line management with performance management and talent retention strategies
  • Ensure adherence of line management to human capital set deadlines for various reports
  • Provide generic human capital services and support to areas of responsibility
  • Ensure HR data integrity for the area of responsibility
  • Provide standard management reports on human capital
  • Comply with governance and compliance policies and procedures
  • Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards

 

Qualifications and Expertise required (or equivalent)

 

  • HR diploma
  • At least 1 – 2  years related experience
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures and systems
  • Basic knowledge of talent and recruitment management
  • Basic knowledge of performance management principles and procedures
  • Basic understanding of regulations and legislation related to area of work
  • Knowledge of HR administration processes
  • Knowledge of SAP HR system preferable
  • Basic level Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
