Main Purpose of the job
- To manage technical investigations and projects on site this includes modifications and improvements
- To provide technical input to assist in maximizing efficiencies and reliability of the plant
- Ensure capital projects are completed on time and within budget.
Education / Qualification Required
- Grade 12
- National Diploma Chemical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or
- B-Tech degree in Chemical Engineering
Experience Required
- At least 3-5 years’ relevant experience in chemical plants
- Knowledge of engineering principles, design and manufacturing standards
- Exposure to risk assessment and HAZOP studies
- Knowledge of tendering processes and documentation
