Key Responsibilities
Customer Technical Support
- Collaborates with distributor commercial teams to support the execution of agreed business strategies.
- Works closely with distributor technical sales teams to ensure continuous product knowledge transfer.
- Supports the integration of AECI Plant Health products into farmer application programs.
- Resolves technical matters in coordination with customers and distributor teams.
- Identifies new opportunities for existing registered products and contributes to label expansion.
- Develops product data summaries to support customer launch activities and field adoption.
- Monitors field performance of commercial products and intervenes when necessary to protect and enhance brand image.
- Conducts market analysis to define product technical positioning.
- Defines and implements technical support actions in alignment with the European Head of Technical.
Field & Product Development
- Designs, manages, and executes product performance trials across target crops and regions.
- Identifies opportunities where AECI Plant Health technologies can address specific or niche agronomic challenges.
- Prepares technical reports, trial summaries, and supporting marketing materials based on field outcomes.
- Continuously monitors technological advancements and competitor activities within the French agricultural sector.
Strategic & Industry Alignment
- Upholds and promotes the professional image of AECI Plant Health in all interactions with distributors, researchers, and industry partners.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with universities, research institutions, and key influencers in the French biostimulant space.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s or PhD in Agronomy, with strong field or product development experience in France.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in agriculture, preferably involving biostimulants or soil biology.
- Proven experience managing field trials and translating technical data into commercial recommendations.
- Professional proficiency in French and English.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of crop physiology, plant nutrition, and biostimulant action.
- Skilled in MS Office and knowledgeable in statistical analysis software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and report‑writing abilities.
- Capable of working independently and within cross‑functional teams.
- Strong problem‑solving capability and the ability to assess customer understanding of new technologies.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ)
The Innovation Crop Specialist will:
- Ensure full compliance with all SHEQ policies and procedures.
- Maintain high safety standards during field activities and site visits.
- Meet occupational health requirements in all areas of responsibility.
- Remain alert to the hazardous nature of materials used in agricultural environments.
- Promote incident prevention and ensure accurate reporting of safety events, near misses, and hazards.
- Adhere to all internal control standards as required by management.
