Purpose of the job
- To assist Plant Operator (s) with their duties. Perform all reasonable instructions from Production Superintendent. To perform Ad-Hoc duties
- On successful completion of EISA, the learner will be awarded with Occupational Certificate in Chemical Plant Operator NQF Level 4 by QCTO (3 year Programme)
Required Outputs Functions
- NQF 4 unit standards Plant operation training.
- Loading and offloading of bags/raw materials.
- General housekeeping on plant.
- Operate plant with Plant Operator’s assistance.
- Complete production process documentation as per process requirements.
- Process monitoring and operation after competency declaration.
- Working at heights.
- Medically fit to work in a chemical environment (working at heights and in confined spaces).
- Ability to be trained to drive forklift.
- Able to work shifts and overtime duties as and when required
Requirements: Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 (with Science and Mathematics as subjects) is essential
- Basic Computer Skills
