Key Responsibilities
The SHEQ Graduate will contribute to SHEQ initiatives, and will be responsible for the following:

Assist depots with compliance to SHEQ policies, procedures, legal requirements, and company standards

Support SHEQ compliance within plant operations, ensuring safe and efficient operational practices

Conduct regular depot and plant inspections, audits, and compliance checks

Assist with hazard identification, risk assessments, and implementation of control measures within depots and plant areas
-
Support incident reporting and investigations related to depot and plant operations
-
Monitor and support environmental compliance, including waste management, spill control, and housekeeping standards
-
Assist with quality assurance activities in operational processes, including documentation and adherence to procedures
-
Support SHEQ inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness initiatives for depot and plant personnel
-
Maintain SHEQ records, reports, and corrective action tracking for depots and plant operations
-
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, compliance, and operational performance
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- A relevant Safety tertiary qualification

Valid driver’s license
-
Roadworthy and reliable personal vehicle

Must be fluent in Afrikaans and able to understand and communicate effectively in Afrikaans
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Skills in database management and trend analysis advantageous
